I've had it for years, just something you get use too. It's not all the time, just here and there. Sometimes sharp stabling pain too. I just ignore it and go on. Usually telling you things are digesting quiet right and I think back at what I ate.

Yes, I've known I had NASH for 20 years. I am stage 4 Fibrosis. Hopefully you can get in a with a specialist. Mine checks me every 6 months, but now that I'm in the research program taking a pill I don't know what I'm taking, I see my dr. every month. Hoping for a cure soon.

Has your nash improved through out the years . Do you have diet plan you go with ? What made it worse or better (foods)? Thanks for reply again. I am still trying to figure if I have nash only or is it autoimmune issues . Tests said anti smooth muscle test negative 7 .

And Anti body test postive with 1:80 (homogeneous) .

It isn't possible to know from that description alone. Pain is an indication that something isn't right. Typically right upper quadrant pain is associated with the liver. There is a tough covering on the liver, the Glissom Capsule, which has lots of nerves and can cause pain as the liver gets bigger or changes shape so it can indicate advancing liver damage. However, there are a lot of things that can cause discomfort so it would be smart to get it evaluated if it is increasing. Many of us have that pain as part of our liver disease. For many it comes and goes as the liver gets larger after you eat.

Hi Arian

Since you just started it is good to be aware that the diagnostic journey can be long with a lot of tests. There are quite a few conditions the doc has to rule out, such as hepatitis so the key thing is to ask plenty of questions so that you understand your situation. It will make more sense as you get the rest of the testing. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
