48 old slightly high GgT,ALT for 12 years .

My name is Erick , I am 48 and have had high ALT (45) and GGT (85) for 12 years .

5.11 173lbs active . Drinks 3-4 glasses of wine a week , eats well

Did not drink 1 month did blood work and still the same

Ultrasound 3 year ago with perfect results .

Fibroscan cap 263 Stiffness 5.3

Did all tests for immune , hep’s etc... all perfect

What can cause these high enzymes

Hi Ertech

You have eliminated a lot of the obvious possibilities in your description. The question is far beyond our competence and suggests that you need to have a real expert figure it out. Ordinarily it is a marker of inflammation but it can be very complex. Here is a link from Mayo that might be of some help.
