Hi,

Is collagen good to take with a fatty liver?

If so, what kind?

There are several kinds, such as Collagen 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Thank you!

Hello Grandma

When you think about food remember that what you eat must be broken down into its building blocks or molecules before it can enter the body. Some people try to sell you things with health promises. To be available to the body it is broken down into small molecules called peptides. There is debate about its value as a supplement but no need to pay fancy prices. The gelatin you buy at the grocery is the same. The body uses the peptide building blocks to make what it wants. Buying ground up skin, bone, or cartilage from a peddler isn't better than boiling a whole chicken to make soup.
