Remember, liver disease today is not just a disease of old alcoholics. That stigma needs to go away. We even have around 15% of teenagers who already have fatty livers. Unheard of 60 years ago and a terrible sign that many of them will face a difficult future. If you are a parent you need to be concerned.

There is a metabolic disease called Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency if you are in trouble with liver damage and your not a big drinker please ask for a test! It's vital you are ruled out for this, it's a genetic disease. Up there on the top 10 for all liver transplants in the West.
