Hey guys, u am new here, but i would Luke to ask some things! I have been bingein so bad the past two days, i have to fo a video in a week, andò they are requested a vert skinny girl... Is just temporary.. My actual weight is 48.5 kg and I am 164 cm.

I must be 44 kg (they asked this for the short film) and if I binged today and this is the next Friday, will a fast help? Also I wanna ask:

How much weight could I loose fasting according my weight and height?

Have you ever heard about dry fast from the Russian doctor Filonov ?

Do you prefer dry fast or water fast?

What are your experiences about ?

I can't support this. You already have very low body weight. Losing 8% could be very dangerous for you.

You should carefully consider if this short film is worth the risk. You should also try to find medical supervision, to keep an eye on you throughout.

Don't do a dry fast! That would be quite dangerous and possibly counter productive, as your body could develop oedema in response. Drink plenty of water with natural salts added. Add broth, again with salt.

I am not sure it's possible for you to lose 4kg in that time frame. Even when I weighed nearly twice as much as you, I would only lose a couple of kilograms during an extended fast.

Again, at your weight I think it might be impossible to lose 4.5kg without losing muscle, essential body fat and severe dehydration. The first 2 could shorten your life, the third might kill you immediately. Why do the people making this video want an emaciated woman? I don't think these are people you should trust.

Hi, Avriii - I am sorry I missed your post yesterday.

Welcome to our forum.

Dry fasting gives faster weight loss, but, as Subtle_badger implies, it is not widely recommended (for anyone of any age).

"Normal" weight loss (for a "normal" 100kg + person) might be half a stone plus a pound a week - a 100 kg plus person might lose something approaching a pound (half a kilo) of fat a day on a water fast, but, even if you are fat-adapted, the rate at which you can burn fat depends on how much spare fat you have.

Do not worry too much about your weight - you have the interview, and you are not much over the target - and it is what you look like that matters.

You are at the "lean" end of the ideal weight range.

If you want to look lean - I suggest that you exercise and gain muscle rather than lose fat.

Organisations that try to insist on girls being unhealthily skinny are not worth working for.

If you have been binging, then I think that Intermittent fasting for a week might produce considerable initial weight loss - almost all of if gut-fill and fluid.

At 18, you might have stopped growing - how tall are your parents?

Keto (or Low-Carbohydrate, High-Fat) is, I think, good for the majority of us who are overweight ...but you are already "too" lean, so carbohydrate would no do you any harm!

My experiences? I am male and 71, and I was about 125kg... so my experiences would not be very relevant... but I have lost about 35kg - and I am trying to keep young!

The general advice is that the young should not fast, Dr Jason Fung does not recommend extended fasting for teenagers, and recommends that the should not Intermittent Fast for more than 16 hours a day.

I have never heard of Dr Filonov - Dr Mindy Pelz is the lady Dr advocating and advising on fasting:
