I started IF a few weeks back and by 19/10/20 I thought I would try for OMAD - have to say I like it. I have read Delay, Don’t Deny and also Appetite Control. Both very informative.
With the OMAD - I am finding I like the 20/4. My open window starts at 5:00pm and usually closes around 8:30 pm . I am getting the support of hubby which helps.
We are having a Sunday lunch roast, which I didn’t want to really miss out. So I had worked it by doing a 38 hour fast I could then open my window at midday ready for my lunch at 12:30 which is earlier than my normal open window. I didn’t want to tell the rest my family and didn’t want the negativity that can come with it.
I am 20 hours in, drinking water and the occasional black coffee and the best thing so far is it’s helping my gut and the rest of my body, plus I feel absolutely fine. I am reading Feast with out Fear by Gin Stephens another interesting book.
After tomorrow I plan to go back to my normal Window of 5:00pm on Monday which will be 24 hour fast.
Thought I would just share this with you
Happy Fasting

Hey very well done you Hidden we love success stories on F&F.👍😊
Thank you for your interesting post, and, well done on your success
I know a lady who has lost so much weight, after following OMAD 20:4 after reading Delay Don't Deny, and, being a part of the Face Book group, of the same name.
The other titles sound interesting (I am never sure if this is permitted on here) so, thank you.
I agree, having your OH on board, makes such a big difference.
I hope that you enjoy your well deserved Sunday Roast x
At the end of my 38 hour I started with a small snack olives and nuts. Followed by my roast dinner with cauliflower cheese made the Diet Doctor Eat way. Yorkshire puddings, roast spud and parsnips My Sunday roast was fantastic and so very tasty 😋. Followed by fruit crumble made the DDE way served with double cream, and a glass of red wine 🍷 😋
I believe it can take 3 weeks of OMAD to start to take affect, and to loose a few lbs
I have done a daily weight-in chart with an average weekly column at the end of week. For me to keep an eye on what’s happening in my body .
It works well, yes I like the idea of loosing a few lbs, but what I really am enjoying is to not be counting points ( I was with WW) or counting calories or just recording everything that goes down the hatch ! Enjoying real food ( I even had a go at Cambridge - packets and bars ...) .
