It came up recently that the admin on some groups recommend clicking 'only community members' when members make a post.
This is how I see things, I write posts to reach out to people who are interested and or want guidance so I click anyone as I want to attract like minded people.
To me whats very important is how we as members communicate with one another as some people are very disrespectful on social media, this will not be tolerated on any HU forum that I'm admin on. Another red line is posting photographs of children under the age of 13 as the poster has to have the parents permission even if it's their grandchildren, subject to COPPA guidelines:

It's also important not to give personal info like your real name and any contact details and posts containing personal info will be deleted.
To me 'you' the members are the forum and we all have to comply with HU terms and conditions. I want you all to post so you are comfortable with your post so it is 100% your decision, here are HU guidelines on Members only and Anyone:
You have two options:
Anyone:
Includes people who are not yet members of the community or HealthUnlocked, but who are looking for help.
Is this safe? Yes, if you are anonymous, no one can identify you by what you write.
Only community members:
Only members of HealthUnlocked who follow your community can see the whole of your post.
Only members of the community can see the author's username and the full post/question and replies.
Both posts marked as visible to "Everyone" and to the "Community" can be found through RSS feeds . This can include the website of a charity and the NHS, as well as through search engines like Google.
Posts visible to the "Community" again only have strictly limited visibility, through RSS feeds.
Visitors can understand the gist of a post by reading the title and the first 247 characters, but the author's privacy is not compromised.
Replies to "Community" only posts are also not visible to people outside of the community. All replies to posts visible to "Everyone" are also visible to "Everyone".
This means that individuals, who are not yet members, also receive support and find answers to their questions before they join the community.

Community administrators and HealthUnlocked will, with best endeavours, regularly moderate their community to ensure that the community provides the best experience possible. We review reports of abuse and take action (remove content/profiles) when there is evidence that the Community Guidelines or our Terms of Use were violated.
Your Part:
As a community member you can help keep the community safe by reporting inappropriate content that breaches either Community Guidelines (look for community specific guidelines) or the Terms of Use. If you see something you think shouldn't be there, speak up and let the community admins or HealthUnlocked know about it.
