Hi there,

We did a maybe incomplete disimpaction a month ago and so are going again as son has still been soiling for last month and poos still very runny even though on low dose of macrogol. Just wanting to get opinions on whether we are nearly there or if we are there with disimpaction? Have posted some pics (sorry TMI!) so would really appreciate any advice. I gave him some seeds and corn the day before these and they came out the other end 24 hours later pretty much give or take an hour. His tummy is contanstly gurgling and his day sleeps are being affected by him doing poos so would love for this to be the end point. Once we are at disimpaction, I plan to stay on this max dose (8 junior movicol) for another 2-3 days then very very slowly reduce this time! Thanks for your time and reading!

Hi, just want to say I was reading your posts and it sounds similar to what my 3.5 year old is going through. I’m so confused as to wether she’s properly disimpacted or if she’s soiling or what. It’s a hard journey! How is your son getting on now?
