Hi, I joined a FB to help support our disimpaction this week and from reading lots of posts they seem to share very strongly that you need three days of 'rusty tea' to be sure you are at the end, does anyone else agree with this?

Yes absolutely, so many people reduce far too quickly and wonder why the issues still persist.

Dear Stan2018 , unfortunately, this advice isn't correct. You only need to see rusty water (with bits in) on two occasions to be sure that the backlog has cleared. It would be virtually impossible to get three days, since the child would still be eating and producing new poo all the time.
