3 year old will only wee for mum

My 3 year old has been potty training a couple of weeks. I stayed home with her the first week and she did really well, several wees a day on the potty, always when prompted to try. This week in nursery she’s holding it all day, and today even with her dad at home (I’m at work) she had held for hours and won’t go. I’m getting super stressed. She’s otherwise well and eating and drinking well. Any advice would be so gratefully received!!

Hi, just a thought but have you taken her to a GP to check for a UTI? Also, make sure she's still drinking 6-8 cups of water or diluted squash/juice a day. Try practising potty sits throughout the day or whenever she's at home, but leave a nappy on/pants or even be fully clothed. The aim is to become relaxed on the potty. Keep some toys and books by the potty and toilet, reward for sitting, don't mention wee or poo.
