So my daughter is 4 1/2 had gastro issues since she was born with reflux and constipation, had 2 clean outs this year at hospital via NG tube I beleive its called for klean prep and maintenence dose on cosmocol and senna which is successful, however she keeps having bad bouts of really bad tummy pain, usually once or twice a week followed by watery bowl movement then she's fine, however we are now on days to. Of bad tummy pain each getting worse and she's going to the toilet just fine, we've been dairy wheat egg free and tried everything and her next appointment now isn't till end of September apparently nhs don't want to do scans or coloscopy just yet as they see it as invasive however I'm pushing for these to find out what's causing it so I can stop school from sending her home when shee starts next week as nursery have been doing does anyone have any ideas what I can do to help her or advice her confidence is really starting to suffer she doesn't want to go out incase she poos herself and she doesn't want to play around other kids just in case

Hi Mommabear,

What a lot for a little one to deal with. This must be so stressful for you both. If you would like to talk to a person about how to get a plan in place and also get some information about what to expect from your medical professionals, our Helpline is open Mon-Thurs and you can also request a callback on our website by visiting eric.org.uk/helpline.

Hope today is a good day.
