Malem wireless alarm

Hi all, we have just purchased the Malem wireless alarm for our 8 year old who excessively wets the bed every night, so much so his skin is red raw and he has steroid cream. I've just tested the alarm but the reset button doesn't seem to be working?

I soaked some pants to test it, alarm went off, removed clip from wet pants, pressed reset button, attached to new dry pants but alarm keeps going off? what am i doing wrong? I dont want this to happen tonight and keep everyone awake?

Thanks in advance.

Have you dried off the sensor part with some kitchen paper or toilet tissue?

I don't have that alarm, just a cheep chinese one, and it needs to be completely dry before it will stop sounding unless you switch it off.

Thank you, yes we've just tested it again with kitchen roll in-between to make sure it was dry and its still not re-setting. It says on the side of the alarm not to turn it off to re set it. 🙄😒

Had the same issue (ours was second hand). We just turn it off and back on again. Works fine. And she's dry at night now!
