Constipation in my 3 year old

So this has been going on since my daughter was 7/8 months old and she's now 3 almost 4! She's constantly constipated, she will stand and scream in pain that she can't poo, it's made toilet training so hard and she's tried so many medications, she's now on movicol which helps but not much! I sit and cry sometimes I just don't know what to do!

How much movicol is she on? Have you looked at diet? How much does she drink during the day? Ask for a stimulant such as senna as well.

6 satches a day, her diet is really good, she she drinks a lot of water

i agree with the two replies that you have already had. Just to add she really needs to do a disimpaction,pooh nurse video will show you how and then a good maintenence dose plus senna. There is no easy answer to this ,our daughter is 11 and bee coping with this since she was 3. Has been using colon irrigation ,peristeen, for 6 months but i imagine that your little one is too young for that. Good luck and try to stay calm!!ps peristeen has really helped
