Had anyone had any experience with a vesicostomy button? My son is due to have one and there is very little information online about it. We’re going to see the urology nurses who I’m sure will fill us in on everything but was wondering if anyone had and first hand experience?

Hi Soph. The short answer is that things like this are an adjustment, but they can be life-changing for children. The long answer is that our specialist nurse Brenda has a lot of experience helping children to mentally prepare for things like this & if you want to call our free Helpline we could share some of her words of wisdom with you.
