Hi everyone,

My son had an X-ray yesterday and they have found his bowel to be overstretched and something not quite right with the gasses in his tummy so want to investigate further, we are due to go back today for blood tests but I’m not sure what other investigating they are going to do? Anyone else experienced this? My son is 7

Apparently an overstretched bowel can be common after Disimpaction which is what we’ve been through over the past week x

It’s the gases in his tummy bit that caught my eye as my son has had so many gastric problems since multiple high enemas and high doses of constipation meds. Sounds like you have found a health professional who actually wants to get to the bottom of what is going on...how refreshing! 😉
