Continence nurses have suggested one might be useful.

Who has used one? What did you find useful for (loo trips, change clothes, water drinking, prevent wet bed)?

I might be tempted to buy a waterproof one...

Any tips and advice...or if anyone has one to sell? x

We used one for a while last year when my son was having a lot of accidents which were not helped by an unsympathetic teacher. We initially set it for every hour (he had to go to the toilet when it buzzed) and then increased the length of time gradually and it really helped him get his confidence back and regain a bit of control. You can set it off at regular intervals or set alarms at set times (once things had improved I set the times for break time, twice at lunchtime and once in the afternoon).

It definitely helped us with a difficult patch and I would recommend it to others. Unfortunately ours went a bit weird after a while (after we had stopped using it thankfully) so cant sell it on.

Good luck

We have just bought one for our 5 1/2 year old and it has honestly changed my life. We have had a few "trust issues" where she ignored the buzz, but I've made a massive deal about how you have to be a really big girl to be able to listen to the watch, and we trust her and thought she'd be able to do it etc etc.... We had issues with daytime wetting and soiling, I felt like I was constantly telling her to go to the toilet and it was a battle every time. The watch has given her back a bit of control and it's meant that I don't have to stress as much about forgetting to send her to the toilet as she should go herself (we've set it to buzz every hour). We're only on day 4 so it's still a learning curve but I'm thinking of a reward system for listening to the watch. Anyway I know this post is old, but I highly recommend it - although I wouldn't get one for anyone very young as it's a lot of responsibility...
