Help with child who needs to lie down/ ground himself to poop

Hi, my Son was starved of blood and oxygen at birth. He is 5 and largely dry in the day but will only poo in a nappy lying down or sat on his legs and needs, says he feels like he shakes when he tries to poop on his specialist heathfield comode. It’s really impacting on school life as he gets so inconsolably upset we go and get him and it’s all about needing to poo. He poops everyday and it’s soft, constipation has not been a problem. He has dyspraxia, hyper mobility, hypertension and kidney disease (high fluid intake currently). Anyone got any ideas to help please?

You might regard this as a 'Backwards', or 'Retro', step but maybe, with the school's agreement, maybe you could put him back in Nappies for a while. You will find, if you ask around, that a lot of children- ours included- do Poo Themselves, at school. The important 'thing' here is that he GOES, it doesn't matter where really...Dose it...Honestly?
