My 21/2 year old has had pale yellowish poo since age 1 and has also suffered with chronic constipation. She is currently on Movocol which she has been for over a year now but it's only helped slightly. The doctors have told us to keep an eye on the pale poo but surely a year and a half later they should start helping? Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

I spoke to the Eric help line about this a few months ago as my son 8yr has this and is on movical and has been for years. It's worth emailing or calling them as they gave me reassurance about movical usage saying that it's fine for long term use and has no known side effects. If you've looked up pale poo on the internet your most likely feeling pretty worried give them a call or call you're gp and ask about this and why they haven't looked at this by now, just to put your mind a rest. Try not to panic it's most likely nothing my sons goes through stages of this all (pale poo, smooth sausage shapes that stick to the bottom of the loo or float) the time but best to be sure. Let me know how you get on if you can. Best wishes G
