Supra pubic catheter and bladder spasms

Hi, I've been on here for a few months and my daughter has complex bladder problems, just wondered if anyone else's child has had any problems with a supra pubic catheter, she has never suffered with any infections at all and then BANG! She has this catheter fitted and now she has this really nasty one which doctors have prescribed 2 lots of antibiotics for and its still there, she now has bladder spasms which she is on oxybutinin for. She's only had this in since 2nd June, she will have to have this in for at least 6-8 weeks, she just seems to be in so much pain and discomfort with it all, I'm just a very worried mum and I know the hospital must be sick of me keep ringing but is this all normal??
