First night on desmomelt and soiled himself

Hi, my almost 7 year old has never been dry at night and was recently prescribed desmomelts by school nurse, the lower dose ones. Took them for the first time last night and he had soiled himself during the course of the night which has never ever been an issue before. I can't find any information on this being a side affect. I'd rather wash bedding covered in wee than poo!

My son is 7 and just started on these. Have had no dry nights yet but no poo. I've read the symptoms and it does not state anything . Have you continued and has it stopped ?

Oh no! I've not heard of that either. How horrible for you both. Hopefully a coincidence and he just had a bad tummy???
