Any toddlers with multifocal epilepsy
Hello Gezybabe, contact Dr. Pieter Kritzinger (Neurologist) at 012 998 8885/8871 Pretoria East hospital. He's been treating my older brother for the past 18+ years. Remember that each case is unique and a broad spectrum of treatments and success stories are available to you. Grow a thick skin for forums and keyboard warriors, rather seek specialists input and peer-reviewed medical journal articles. Best regards
Hub Gezybabe, my daughter was diagnosed with focal seizures when she was two. We the. Had a MRI done and they found a tumour. She has been on meds but continues to have seizures so now two years later they want to do a over night observation EEG to make sure it's the tumour causing the seizures and then they will make a decision on surgery. We have been dreading surgery just the idea and thought as a parent. It's difficult. What is multifocal seizures?
Multifocal seizures is when the seizure originate from multiple areas in her brain at the same time. She has absent seizures quite a few times a day (with meds epilim it has become better) and has tonic seizures that her left size of her body pulls stiff.the 24 hour set will help and let them gain more information. We did Mri and not lecisions or tumours. I pray for you little one and pray that God may bless the doctors to give your little one the best possible treatmen
