Hi there been awhile I've had epilepsy all my life. Have had surgery and still not happy with my life. Cant go back to work because of it all. My surgery made my life worse I think, What about you...

Hi Trinity

I am sorry to hear about you feeling so down after surgery. I haven’t had it but it’s an option for me. How long ago did you have it? Maybe you just need some extra healing time, it must have been a very hard decision to make, I know people who have had it and it really changed their life for the better and people who had the opposite effect. Maybe your neurologist can put you in touch with someone who has had the surgery , that you can speak to. I hope it works out for you.

Yes Ive had brain surgery few years ago, could not go back to work my memory got worse. so lost my job bacause of all this. I was a lot better before surgery

Yes they did but there was a layoff and there was no call for a return. My DR did some fighting for me but thats how some jobs get like that she said.

What kind of surgery did you have? In the UK?
