I think I maybe have simple partial seizures on occasion though this has not been diagnosed. When I’ve had tests nothing came up and the doctor is unsure what it is.
I do not loose consciousness but have a deja vu feeling and am in the own world for up to 30 seconds. Feel very bizarre afterwards.
I have recently been feeling so tired and weak and feel like I have no stretch and pull my hands and fingers to help.
Does anyone else experience this?

Prior to diagnosis (following night time tonic-clonic seizures) and treatment with levetiracetam I experienced simple partial seizures.
For me I would describe them as less like deja vu and more akin to being in a dream-like state, having a rush of random thoughts and feelings for about 30 seconds to a minute These were accompanied by some autonomic symptoms - racing heart, cold sweat, sinking feeling in my stomach etc. I didn't experience any loss of consciousness.
I have been on levetiracetam for 10 months now and fortunately have had no recurrences.
Yes that sounds really similar to what I have. I’ll need to go to the doctor again I think. Before you were on medication, did you feel quite rubbish day to day? I’ve felt so tired and weak the last few weeks. Haven’t had any but feel like I’m having blips where I might happen
Before medication I generally did have some days where I feel a bit rubbish, I think maybe that's got a bit better now I'm on medication. It's really hard to say whether the tiredness etc. is epilepsy related though as I also have to throw into the mix other factors (e.g. work, being an oftentimes stressed parent to two SEN kids and the simple fact that I'm getting older etc.). Also my diagnosis and starting on medication pretty much coincided with the start of the covid lockdown which itself has made big changes to life.
I'd definitely recommend going to the doctor again though. I think it's sometimes hard for them to diagnose mind you. I had neurologist appointments, MRIs and EEGs that didn't show anything. I only got my diagnosis following a night time tonic-clonic that my daughter witnessed.
I had partial seizures or auras for up to a year before I had my first and only epileptic seizure. Since being on medication I’ve been fine but with occasional auras when I’m stressed or tired. My GP did not recognise the symptoms at all.
It sounds like you're having a tough time with these symptoms at the moment.
We're not medically trained so can't give a diagnosis but its possible these feelings of deja vu could be a type of focal aware seizure. These used to be called 'simple partial seizures': epilepsy.org.uk/info/seizur...
You mentioned you've had tests before but nothing's been diagnosed. It could be worth keeping a diary of everything you're noticing to talk things through with your doctor again if you are concerned. I'm linking you to our information about diagnosing epilepsy for more information: epilepsy.org.uk/info/diagno...
You'd be welcome to call and talk things through with us at the Helpline if you have any further questions. Our number is freephone 0808 800 5050.
If you have not seen a neurologist get your GP to refer you. They have first seizure clinics. Ask people to film it if you have a seizure that will help with diagnosis.
