My Embrace photo too (for AmyBadd)

I saw hers and just wanted to give an Embrace high-five. Embrace wristband for detecting seizures, sending text messages to connections via phone app... and having someone come over if I don't respond to text messages and then I got to wake up later after a seizure and then go "UGGHHH what the f**k are you doing over at my place in a panic that makes my mind experience nightmarish bullshit in addition to my postictal horror???" Ok ok ok but I guess they are helpful in some way that is although difficult to comprehend... mine is expired now though... conjoined time-wise with my surgery, which still has induced some bizarre thinking... ughhh I'm still recovering from surgery too anyway...

But I DO recommend these wristbands, although this WAS sort of nightmare-inducing life (forgetting to take it off while wanting to wash a dish in the sink for one example - then getting group texts "did you have a seizure? seizure? seizure?" Aaarrggg!! Wth??). Anyway... I need to run to the store (still wearing a cap to cover up my surgery though 😱😭 though I've been working on it...)

Hehe! Yes, sometimes my husband has a real panic because I get a false alarm having a race against my sister pushing our childrens’ buggies over bumpy ground!!! (Or something else!)

Mostly it is good though. Now that the trial period is expired I pay about £9 a month to subscribe to the service. My husband is a worrier and I have a day a week alone with my son, so it gives him some peace of mind.

Cool - overall I guess there's no downside to the wristband except suddenly having family appear at my place in the middle of the night or whatever due to a seizure. I'm unmarried so it was my dad pretty much. And still having guilt feelings somehow and unknown existence of seizures and feeling like I'm being punished by God or whatever and having terrible feelings, and trying to figure out if existence is still worth it after surgery - etc etc - I'm still liking communication with epilepsy folks though too - ugh can't think about it right now though...

May things be excellent!
