I kept producing a lot of milky white discharge and specialists put it down to having a large proportion of squamous (mucus producing) cells on my cervix compared to columnar (building block) cells. Apparently there is no 'normal' proportion. One treatment of liquid nitrogen burning them off and the problem was resolved. Apparently, the cells should have grown back more proportionately?!? If you are worried that the amount of discharge is excessive, I recommend visiting your local gum clinic for a check up. They can rule out any nasty infections and look into why you may be producing excess discharge. No harm in checking :-) good luck x
