Dose prostap/HRT cause hair thinning ?

My hair is falling out in hand falls! I've only benn on prostap since the 16th oct and nearly a week on hrt! x

Yes, it does, and it's more likely to be the Prostap than the HRT. The HRT might balance it out a bit

Crap!! My hair this morning has come in hand falls! I seriously look bold at the front! I'm a hairdresser- and i'm finding this hard! Wig it is??? I have trie so many treatments and none seem to agree with me J x

My hair has always been thin and fine so you can imagine my joy when I started Prostap....

On the other hand, 20 years ago before Prostap and Zoladex were around we were given Danazol which cruelly tore the hair from our heads and, erm, elsewhere, and gave us a moustache (seriously, I have pictures from those days, I should have been working in a circus, not a bank), so in some ways I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies...

It might be worth mentioning it to the doctor although I'm not sure what they can do about it. I know that the relief I get from my courses of Prostap and Zoladex is immense and hair loss might be a small price to pay for some pain free time - but it seems cruel that when our problems are stemming from us being women, we're also robbed of our femininity

For me i'm not sure what feels worse right now? My job is to have lovely hair!! right now i look like im still dressed for halloween! Feel so sad for us all x

I put on a long red curly wig for Halloween. I got compliments on how good it made me look....

I am on deceptyl and this happened to me.I was told it was the livial hrt,stopped taking it and it stopped soon after.

Hi guys, I've been on prostap for around three months, I had my third injection on Friday and my head won't stop spinning! Has anybody else had this? I lost some hair after my first jab but that has stopped, but I'm not on hrt either, was unsure whether to try it as people had given hrt bad reviews.

Hi StacieLou, you posted this back in November 12. How are things now? Are you still on prostap? I've had a heavy head and I'm on my 2nd injection. I feel drugged up all the time. Not with it. Completely out of it and my memory is very bad. Hot flushes are going through the roof! Let me know how you are. I hope much better!
