Awaiting endometriosis diagnosis

So trying to cut it short 😬😩 first got rushed to a&e in Feb, suspected appendicitis so they removed it, whilst in recovery I got severely poorly from peritoneal fluid leaking so was in hospital for two weeks, just to find out the histology of appendix was absolutely fine so was never the problem anyway. Two weeks later took myself back in same pains, this happened three times.. still had no answers they were literally just guessing the third time treating me for PID etc 🥺 anyway it all died down for months, then two months ago all started severe again *Severe pelvic/abdominal pains*Lower back ache constantly

*Nausea/fatigue and loss of appetite

*Painful sex

*Constant urination(alo no idea if related but no UTI or anything, had this for months, literally wee every half hour 😩)

*Constant bloating look like I'm seven months pregnant 🥺

CT has been clear, so has abdominal ultrasound and internal, blood tests, urine dip, literally all clear! Colonoscopy showed I had diverticulosis but would not cause symptoms like this Dr said. So finally had referral for gynae which will take 18 weeks 😩 currently living in pain, can't wear jeans or anything I'm so so fed up😴

First question is: is there ANY WAY except private, that I can ruh my referral any faster 🥺

Second question: When I am eventually seen, will they want to perform all scans etc again? Or possibly just an MRI or has anyone ever just been referred straight for a diagnostic laparoscopy as first choice overall?

Sorry for the long post, just so many questions and sick of feeling like a shadow of myself constantly in pain 🥺

Your GP can write a letter to the hosp to push your referral forward due to your circumstances. I feel for you it's a constant let down with the system isn't it. Hope you get some help. 🤞

Omg can they really? I hate being a constant burden and pain on the GPS etc but these last few weeks I have gave up caring if I annoy them because I'm so sick of it all so I'm hoping the more I push the quicker diagnosis, I'm planning to call them again tomorrow but was thinking they will be like well we have referred you what more can we do 😴 but hopefully they can give a push that's great advice thanks so much ♥️🙏🏻

The lady at the waiting list told me when I rang and labour came into power and the waiting lists were sorted out 🙈 to look better than they are and I was put back another year 😔. Tell the GP straight I was ready to jump in the water and not come out which is not me at all!!! Xxx

omg I could be reading about me, I mean your story is almost identical to mine.

16 years ago I had the same terrible symptoms, I ended up having a complete hysterectomy and was told it was PID.

For years I’ve had progressing bladder problems, now I have to wear thick pads every day and in bed.

I bleed from the bowel, a lot!

Get severe pain in ribs , neck pain, out of breath when walking and bending down, pins and needles in head

Fast forward to the present day, i had an appendectomy, hystology came back saying it was endo.

I had a colonoscopy which showed diverticulitus, and bowels stuck together, but no hystology reslts yet.

So i was almost certainly misdiagnoed 16 years ago. And was given Hrt which was feeding it.

Today im going for an MRI.

I think private it the only way to get it rushed through, or you could send emails to the consultants like i did, that got me my MRI

Omg I'm sorry to hear this 🥺 how insane is it that it's so hard to diagnose! Sounds so similar to me! I sometimes question myself like i am making the pains up it's so horrible, I literally feel like crying 😩 fingers crossed for you 🙏🏻♥️
