I have found out that I have stage 4 endo with pcos, chocolate cysts...the lot!
My surgeon has said in his plan that I'll need a partial vaginectomy due to the nodules attached to the rear of my vagina onto my bowel.
I'm going to have a conversation with him about this but we all know how hard it is to get contact with your Doctor! For now, I need advise on this to stop me going stir crazy!
Can I still get pregnant? I understand I'll probably need a cervical suture and a c section and that's fine.
Do they do the reconstruction in the same op?
How painful is it as it sounds awful?!
Only information that I can find is about gender reassignment or cancer so I'm limited!

I’m so sorry to hear that you have a big op planned.
It sounds similar to mine but the word vaginectomy hasn’t been mentioned to me. I can’t find anything about it with endo only what you mentioned. I hope you get the answers and reassurance that you need soon.
I have the endo in the rectovaginal space, so cervix and infiltrating into the bowel. I have been placed on Ryeqo until the operation. I also need a bowel resection, I’m nervous about the pain too. Sending you lots of care during this time.
Have you had any ops before, I recommend keeping up with the pain meds, even if you think you feel ok. Rest, lots and get lots of help from family and friends.
