Mri scan for endo and pain

Hi girls can someone please advice me?

i had an Mri scan yesterday for endometriosis it took around 35 minutes to scan it all (this is the time i was inside of the machine)

And today i have incredible pain in my left ovarius every few seconds it keeps sharping pain yesterday my ovulation finished.

can you please advice me if this is normal?

is it because of the mri scan? I am worried

Hi Katie,

Mri does take around that long, and your ovarian pain is certainly unrelated to the mri.

We do tend to imagine a lot more with this freaking disease.

I usually have ovulation pain on both ovaries for almost 4 days. I wouldn't associate ur kind of pain to the mri. Let's not give ourselves more things to worry about
