so scared recalled for another ultrasound

Hi, I’m 20 yrs old and had a pelvic US couple weeks ago for pain, heavy bleeding, pain during sex, feeling nauseous after eating . I phoned my gp for results and the receptionist said I had to go back for another one. She said my gp would email me. So scared, why would I be recalled.

I had two ultrasounds 12 weeks apart because they found a cyst on the first one and they wanted to see if it went away on its own or was still there in 12 weeks. In my case it was still there and they were able to tell me I almost certainly had endo. But my understanding is thar cysts on ultrasounds aren’t always endo related, hence the two scans.

I also had v little explanation of test results - they just told me by text they’d booked me in for a follow up. But I called back and requested a phone appointment to talk though with a doctor. That at least gave me some answers.

Did they do an internal ultrasound at same time as pelvis? if not and they’ve found something, they may well want to do an internal one too. Best wishes to you ❤️
