Does anyone have experience using dating websites specifically for disabled people? I would love to know what to expect.
I am ready to start meeting people again but I am housebound by my symptoms so dating websites are my only option. I tried the regular apps last year but gave up when people kept saying 'It's a shame you are sick.'
Any recommendations for good websites would be welcome! So far my favourite is Disability Match but I haven't signed up to any yet.

No question is stupid. I had surgery last August where Endo was found and removed from three places, including my uteral sacral ligament. It definitely lowered my pain level and I have some mobility back but my full blown symptoms came back in January this year. I potentially have Adenomyosis so that complicated things. I have tried all the various hormonal treatements and they made me worse. I am doing physio therapy, accupressure and pain management stuff and they are helping but I am still disabled by my symptoms.Surgery is a treatement for Endo but you need to remember its not always an affective one. I dont know if my symptoms now are from the Adeno or if this is just what having Endo means for me. It sucks, and its terrible but I have realised I am not just going to wake up one day and be better. I need to start lifing my life, disabling symptoms included.
