I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis and I have been started on Dineogest tablets, I dont really know much about this tablet and if I will still have a period etc?
I have tried prostap injection before and it helped the pain I am wanting to know if prostap or dineogest tablets is better or can you take them both together at the same time?

I was put on dienogest 4 weeks ago it has reduced pain a bit but the side effects are so bad . I've literally been ill the whole 4 weeks. Rang docs yesterday as I couldn't take no more and he's taking me off them and put me on the mini pill. Fingers crossed I start to feel better soon its been awful 😖 xx
I have just been on dienogest and it’s been fantastic for me (no bleeding) and other symptoms. I think it is best to start it at the beginning of your cycle so you won’t bleed then, which worked for me. Anxiety was a little raised at first but it then levelled out. However unfortunately my Andenomyosis scan came back as severe (which is why pain got so bad they think) so today I have just had first Prostrap injection. So I didn’t get many weeks on dienogest but the time I did have has made me want to continue after Prostrap. So Worried now Prostrap is going to make me bleed (as there is a surge in hormones at first with Prostrap). Did you get a bleed when you first started prostrap? I am really hoping I don’t bleed as it’s been bliss on the dienogest…Hope that is helpful info.
