So I was on Decapeptyl for a few months last year, a month without HRT and a couple with. I stopped using it because it was causing me headaches and was switched to Zoladex alongside HRT.
For the first 4 injections it was fine, it stopped my periods and I was doing ok, although my moods have got slightly worse since being on it.
The last two injections however a few days after having it I have had the most painful and heavy periods. It is making me feel faint and nauseous. I have asked the GP and they said to contact the consultant, I contacted him the first time and was told by his secretary that she would get him to advise, didn't hear anything. When it happened again this week I emailed again and was told that he had been away and she would chase him, so I'm still waiting to hear from him.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

I had that injection a couple of days ago and I don’t feel me at all my mood has dipped so so low I’m having terrible headaches hot flushes dizzy ness and my brain fog a lot lot worse and I just don’t feel me but I think I may need them to give me something as am so emotional I know they said they had to stop the endo from getting any worse and now I’m just over 11 weeks till I have surgery but I can’t stand it at all. I’m 38 and I feel like I’m
Also on another planet . I don’t know whether I can ask my gp for something to help me or whether I just have to suck it up .
Have you been put on HRT alongside the injections? I have an estrogen patch and progesterone tablet. My mood is still horrendous and I've been on it like 5 months now. I try and contact the consultant about it but he is always busy it takes ages to reply and the GP never really know what to advise as they say it's more of a consultant thing, so who knows. I just feel so lost on it.
No nothing at all hun . aparently it’s just one injection I have that last three months and then apparently I will be fine after my surgery. But I get upset so easily I’m like such a fragile person . I just lack energy and motivation.
