So I went for a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound on Saturday, same day I started my period and they said they think I have endometriosis. I had another pelvic transvaginal scan today by somebody else as 2 appointments came at once and I thought I might aswel go for confirmation..
Now she says it's all normal, no signs of endometriosis etc.
What?! So confused now

It really does depend on who’s carrying them out/reviewing.
Request an MRI to confirm. But make sure at the very least someone with a specialism in endo is reviewing. Standard gynes/sonographers don’t know what they’re looking for.
I had 2 ultra sounds and no mention of endo. I have stage 4 endometriosis which they found whilst trying to do hysterectomy. The MRI scan I had later was brilliant x
They shouldn't say there's no signs of endo based on a trans vaginal ultrasound because no scan can diagnose endo. I had a clear trans vag ultra sound and clear MRI and yet I had stage 4 endo!
Don't take it lying down. If anything, the fact that the transvaginal scan at the start of your period showed some indicators and the most recent one didn't, that's indicative of endo as it typically gets worse during periods. It would be great if doctors used their brains lol. Laparoscopy is the only way to diagnose endo.
