Cyclical Cough, breathing and lungs issues. ?Thoracic endo?

Hey guys

I have a cyclical cough and have a lot of respiratory problems.

I asked my GP if it could be endo related or thoracic endo and she said it was ‘incredibly rare’ and shut the convo down.

Anyone been diagnosed with thoracic endo or have any experience etc?

I’m waiting for surgery on deep infiltrating endo which mri shows on my abdominal wall/pod/ligaments etc. so I don’t think it’s unfeasable.

I’ve been sent for another asthma review (negative for asthma) and she stopped my blue inhalers.

i feel frustrated which is our baseline emotion right? It’s taken me nearly twenty years to get my endo diagnosis and I’ve been waiting two years since my mri results to be seen in specialist clinic and have been told it’s another 18 months for surgery.

Wondering how anyone has got on with this?

hi there, so sorry you are suffering with this. It absolutely can be related to endo. My lung collapsed twice last year and one of the main things my surgeon was investigating as to the cause was my endometriosis
