My Body is giving up

Morning all

just wanted to see if anyone can relate to some of the stuff I have going on and offer some form of advice!

The struggle has been going on for 14 years but 5 years I had a laposcopt which found Endo and chocolate cyst which exploded during and caused complications anyway since then things haven’t settled only got worse and I’m loosing my sanity trying to stay positive and focused.

Just over a year ago they suggested I try a second round of Prostap, first time it didn’t agree with me, I agreed as I was desperate, after 9 months things started to feel good but then my body decided play up and I had allergic reaction to it so I had to swap to zoladex and since then things have changed for the worse.

Pain has increased every day with bloating

Painful breast pain some days it feels like a heart attack. I have been seen at Brea St clinic who ruled out anything serious and suggested a well fitted bra, hasn’t helped at all!!!

Neck and shoulder pain to point I can’t carry anything.

Constipation which a lot of mucus in bowel movements sometimes looks like it has blood but I’ve inspected it with cotton bud and no blood

I have had pelvic MRI 2-3 years ago which didn’t show anything however the ultrasound shown my womb is much thicker at the back and consultant does suspect Adenomyosis, I’ve been on waiting list for full hysterectomy but the wait seems to be forever it’s been over a year and I still can’t find out how much longer but been told it’s looking positive!

I’m constantly tired, zero interest in myself and everything is a effort

Just looking to see if anyone has had similar symptoms or know of anything that can help

I’m on HRT but I suffer with migraine so they constantly changing it and up the dose to then lower dose.

Thank you 😊 in sorry the post is sooooo long but I did give the short version 😂

I’m so sorry to hear this. I was at a point 2 years ago where I felt the same like my body was giving up and everything was against me. I was put in prostap as a last resort while waiting for my excision surgery for stage 4 endo with bowel involvement, I also have adenomyosis but not opting for hysterectomy just yet . Prostap (with HRT)has had its ups and downs but on the whole it’s helped me, sorry to hear you had a reaction to it. I’ve just had my excision surgery 3 weeks ago so waiting to see what happens but also staying on prostap for the adeno. Sorry if you’ve already tried these things but incase you haven’t I’ve been using a tens machine that also heats up and also trying my best to follow an anti inflammatory diet. Castor oil packs are also soothing, vitamin D supplements to help with fatigue, omega 3 too. Ginger and Tumeric lattes help with inflammation too. I would also query bowel involvement with your consultant if you haven’t already as the mucus and blood don’t sound great and that’s what I’ve had. Also maybe some natural menopause supplements in addition to the HRT might help? Hope you get some relief soon X
