potentially tmi but wondering if this has happened to anyone else

so I’m 2 weeks and 3 days post lap excision of Deep infiltrating endo, endometrioma and para ovarian cyst. I went to the little girls room and found that I had lost a circular plastic blue disc within a blood clot…… what on earth was it?!? Why was it there and has anyone else experienced this? I’m now really concerned there might be more and if they’re potentially causing issues as I’m still experiencing some significant discomfort - I don’t feel it in my back anymore but my stomach and ovaries are still very very tender

Hi

Just looking at posts, did you go back to surgeon and ask? Have you experienced any more? That doesn’t sound good at all

Not lost anymore and my surgeon wasn’t sure what it was. He thinks it could be some part of an instrument that shouldn’t of broken but he’s asked for me to send it to him so he can review it

That doesn’t sound good, you’d think they’d notice if an instrument broke. Take a picture before you send it back. Glad it came out though. Hopefully they’ll do a scan to check for anything else. They’ll be very blasé about it, be careful they don’t just try to dismiss it and fob you off.
