I have very little faith in the GP at the moment so I went to the doctor and I was told that they think that the endometriosis is back so I get sent for an internal scan and have a GP call me while I was away on holiday to pretty much say that apparently I have polycyclic ovaries and then I said well that’s odd because I was told that the endometriosis is back so then the conversation went on and I said about my operation that I had in January for the endometriosis and the GP said that I would be sent to the gynecology I said I’m going there to see the do doctor and the GP said mention about the endometriosis and the surgery I had,I believe that they don’t know what’s wrong with me

Endometriosis or not?
Hi please stay strong and l hope you soon have the treatments you deserve. My journey took almost 2 years but l must say that since l had a change of specialist l have progressed well.
I would suggest you keep a diary of all that has and still is happening and take this with you to your hospital appointment. I know it is daunting but there is light ahead and if l can be of any more help please leave a message here.

Hi
Unfortunately it is hard to get answers with this disease, it might be the ovaries causing your pain. Gynae may suggest a check to see if Endo is there but they should organise an MRI first. To a degree we have to accept there a large gap in their knowledge for this disease, that doesn’t help us though in wanting answers.
Keep a pain and symptom diary, it’ll be useful. I hope you don’t have to wait too long.
