Hi, I’ve got a date for my surgery. I’m having 2 ovarian cysts removed and I have frozen pelvis where my bowel and womb are stuck together.
I’m just wondering how long people were in hospital for after surgery and how long recovery was. Thanks 😊

Hi my first surgery was similar to yours, had cysts both ovaries and both fallopian tubes removed, at age 76, l was in for 4 days but did not have any after pain due to my amazing anaesthetist. If you are having lap surgery hopefully your after pain should be at a minimum.
Any thoughts you have, or questions you have please share them with your attendant nurse, they are amazing and don’t class any question as being a *silly* one.
Wishing you well on your journey back to health.

Thank you for your reply Alexa. Nice to hear that you didn’t have any pain.
I haven’t seen the consultants since December and they were arguing about what their going to do so I know I’m having a laparoscopy but the rest I’m a bit in the dark.
I’ve had previous surgery for endo and a bowel resection with Crohn’s disease so they said they need to wait and see how bad things are.
Thanks 😊 xxx
