Zoladex side effects

Hi all,

I have been on Zoladex and Tibolone (HRT) since November last year. The treatment has been hit and miss in terms of my endo symptoms and I am awaiting a further consultation to discuss this hopefully soon!

I wondered if anyone else who has been on this treatment has ever suffered with pregnancy type food aversions? I’m really struggling with my body image at the moment since being on this treatment but this is being made worse by only feeling physically able to eat certain foods. Foods I loved and would eat daily previously now turn my stomach and those I didn’t care much for I am craving. I am currently living on bread and sandwiches, crisps, pizza which of course isn’t helping my weight and therefore my confidence.

Does anyone have any tips to combatting this?

Hi

If it’s not working for you, consider coming off it. It did nothing for me for pain and is only licensed for six months.

Not sure I can help on the food front, I don’t eat much. I’d suggest getting a blood test for hormone levels, there might be an imbalance.
