Infertility clinic no help at all!

So I posted on here before about having an ovarian cyst removed last year and the surgeon doing the dye test at the same time and finding endometriosis. Just wanted to get down in words how let down I feel by the follow up I've just had! So he told me the day after my surgery that he found pelvic endometriosis and they drained the cyst and the only option for me to have a baby was IVF. That was in August. Got referred to the infertility clinic in January and had a telephone appointment with the same guy who did my op. It was not meant to be a telephone appointment, my letter said it was face to face and ideally my partner would be with me. So over the phone this doc tells me that he's discharging me from the clinic because my partner already has living children and if you want IVF you have to pay, oh but we can offer you clomid but there's no point because there's no issue with your ovaries or ovulation. Bye now. So there's no scans or MRIs or sweet FA to help me find out how bad my endo is. No help or information AT ALL!!! What a joke. Do I need to lie to my GP and say I'm in terrible pain every month to get more tests?! Because I have zero symptoms of endo but it must be quite bad if the infertility doc is saying IVF IVF IVF, right?! I'm so sorry about the looooong message but I've been so upset and fuming about this and I'm hoping someone out there can shed some light on my next steps...

hi I’ve just come across your post whilst searching for ivf info myself. I also have endo and am now at the start of the ivf process. My partner also has a child so like you we can’t go through nhs. Very frustrating. How are you getting on Sani can see it was quite a while ago you posted the above? X

Had another appointment with a different consultant in a different hospital. He wants to do another ultrasound to check for my cysts/endo, he also said if I had a cyst it's likely I have endo elsewhere. That's never been mentioned before! Unfortunately, I'm still not pregnant though it may be now be because me and my partner have been going through a very stressful time with both our jobs and a death in the family, so sex is pretty low on our radar. No IVF or any drugs for me. I wish you all the best on your journey!! x
