Newbie

Hello!

My mum has osteoporosis DX when she broke her wrist at 51, she is now 67 and doing well in the drugs. Both maternal and paternal grandmothers had osteoporosis (one I remember had a 'crumbling back' both died in their 70's unrealated)

So I asked for a dexa scan and I'm awaiting imsk &ostseo referral so I really don't know where I'm at, but wanted to get a head start because I'll lose my ovaries this year (at 46, due to a tumour)

Any advice would be very appreciated.
