Blood in stomach causes?

Hi, I just want to check if anyone else has been found with having blood in their stomach via ultrasound. The ultrasound showed an unusual amount of blood for me and the specialist commented that it was strange to see that much.

They haven’t investigated the cause but think its due to retrograde menstruation, and want me to take the combined pill to stop from that happening and increasing the change of endo growing back. Although I’m scared to take the pill.

I suspect it could actually be caused by a ruptured cyst though is this possible? Difficult to find answers anywhere and if a specialist finds it unusual but not sure why thats a worry for me.

I have never taken the contraceptions pill in my life and I have stage 4 endo that cannot be operated . I wouldn t worry about the pill. I regret not taking the pill just because I was worried about it .
