I have booked a private consultation with an gynaecologist who specialises in endo. What should I expect from this appointment? The last appointment I went to with NHS GP I wrote all symptoms down, and even brought a pain diary, and he dismissed it.

My private consult was around 30 to 40 minutes. Compared to about 5 with nhs! He took a detailed history of both my symptoms and my family history. He asked lots of questions like do I bleed when going toilet , where my pain is, how heavy is bleeding etc. He was very thorough.
