Prostap isn't helping anymore

Hello. I'm new here and just have a question about Prostap.I was diagnosed with endo around 13 years ago, and currently on my third round of Prostap injections. I had the fourth monthly injection last week, but I've had regular pain for five-ish weeks, and it's just getting worse. Has anyone else found that Prostap just kind of, stops working?

I'm struggling with gynae - had a really awful consultant who didn't follow up for over a year despite me chasing and getting rapidly worse symptoms, but then got a better consultant, haven't had a follow-up since my first appointment with her even though it should have been last month, not getting appointments for the tests she's ordered, and limited treatment options since our NHS trust apparently won't permit hysterectomies for endo even though I do not want a child, and never have. I'm tired, frustrated, and concerned that my only treatment option is basically gone now. I'm sick of the whole thing. My body sucks, my mental health is shredded and I don't have the energy to keep fighting for help.

This kinda turned into a rant, but basically has Prostap failed anyone else?

HiYes, I had the same. I was on prostap for a year and definitely felt like it stopped working for the last six months, even though I didn't have periods.

My gynae was very dismissive and said that any pain i was experiencing was down to something else, as postal "turns everything off".

I feel your pain!

I'm sorry you had that experience. Being ignored or dismissed is so demoralising. It is reassuring I'm not the only one feeling like it stopped working though, so thank you for replying.

Going to try calling gynae next week. Fingers crossed they actually help!
