Just lost

Hi all, i was diasnosed with endo in 2013 at 18 after 3 years of back and forth, in that time ive had 4 laprascopies and patches removed. Ive been on the depo which stopped my periods for 9 years to make things a bit more tolerable, last month i got a period for the first time in 9 years which was very painfull and lasted a fortnight, i havent felt right since and have been to the GP who is asking gynae for advice. All in all im just feeling lost the thought of having all this happen again is just draining. Days were okay with daily paracetamol and the occassional ibu and codeine for flare ups but that didnt cut it this time, I guess im just looking to see if anyone has had similar and what their outcome was, an ablation was suggested but Its alot to consider. Sorry you are going through this. It’s not surprising you would have a very bad period after so long on the depot, I have experienced that after much less time on hormone tablets. I wonder if you not feeling right is also your hormones readjusting themselves as well. I don’t have any experience of this myself though, Was there a reason you stopped the depot? Your GP should be able to give you stronger painkillers if you need them in the meantime, maybe it is worth seeing how your body settles down as it adjusts.
