I have endo there (rectouterine cavity - have you watched Douglas by Hannah gadsby? I refuse to call it pod). I get constipation, flatulence and sometimes diarrhea. I have pain during sex and pain during bowel movements. I don't know if I have endo in my bowel tho, I'm having an MRI today. My symptoms are quite like IBS/ibd I suppose.

It will depend on the extent of the endo - it can range from mild peritoneal to deep infiltrating in the POD.

Hello, I have just been diagnosed with it on the POD, rectum and bowel. My symptoms are sharp pains every now and again in those areas, like someone’s pressing on a bruise. Constipation, bloating, acid reflux (not sure if that’s connected) sharp sciatica pains down the left leg and back pain. It’s really uncomfortable at times. Have you got it as well?

I was told my POD has been obliterated by endo..I get constipation or diarrhea, lots of bloating and well as rectal and vaginal spasms which is like sitting on a lighting bolt...I take buscopam for this....I suffer with my stomach too and get acid reflux as all gastrointestinal related.. I am currently awaiting admission date for my 4th surgery hysterectomy and oophorectomy to see if this will help with my pain etc...endo sucks x

I have not got endo there when they last did my diagnostic surgery however, I am getting a lot of similar symptoms to the other people who responded to you. All I got told about that pouch is it fluctuates during your cycle that's it. To be honest my consultant I'm under isn't helping much in my opinion.

Hi I have it, I get pain and discomfort during intercourse and moving my bowels, I feel a pressure there a lot but I've been told it's a big lump of endo.

I have my left ovary in the pod which I don’t know what that means tbh it’s so confusing to me. I’ve been left with no answers x

Hi, I have it there also. Symptoms match everyone else's comments - flatulence, pain on the right side going down to my leg, constipation/ diarrhea and bloating. I went vegan 2 years ago and it has helped with the pain when going to the toilet. I also take apple cider vinegar everyday and gut vitamins and seems to help some of the bloating.

Yep. My symptoms from endo in the pouch of Douglas, or rectovaginal vault, are sharp stabbing pain up my bum and spine when I sit down. And painful sex.
