Appointment with Consultant

Good morning all

Had an appt with my consultant on Tuesday. It didn't go as well as I had hoped, everything has been so effected by the pandemic. He had told me one of the gynae theatres had been taken away due to COVID and hadn't been returned, which is at the decision of Welsh Government. On the back of this, he suggested all patients to write to the MP to get gynae issues at the front of the government's issues. It is such an over looked area and I fear it will take someone losing their life (as I have been pushed to the brink of awful thoughts) for the gornment to listen to help the NHS. I am sure there are 1000's of women who are suffering in silence with nowhere to turn.

I can confirm I have written to my local MP and hoping she can help me make a stand not just for myself but for every woman. I am not usually this strong day to day, but I felt compelled to do something after my appt. It is sad that our health boils down to politics.
