Trouble getting Zalkya in London

Hi, I am currently on Zalkya- however recently have been trying to get repeat prescription but now been told it has been discontinued- has anyone had luck getting Zalkya in London?

Hi, Maya23232! I have the same question as you. I never managed to buy one in London, cause my GP said she couldn’t prescribe me because it was on the gray list and she was not authorised. However, I used to take a similar one from another country (Dienogest 2mg too). How did you manage to buy the first time? Any specific pharmacy? Did your GP approve? Hiya! I’m on Zalkya (though currently taking a break) and it is quite difficult to get but you should know it has different names. So as Butterfly21 said - dienogest 2mg is the actual hormone dosage and it can be prescribed as Zalkya or Visanne. I believe there is 1-2 other versions as well. If you push your GP to look up dienogest and ask what version they can prescribe that might help. Also advise ringing pharmacies and seeing who has a supply. Good luck x
