I just had the worst period of my life. Starting SUPER slow and out of no where extreme cramping and the passage of the tissue below. I went through 4 super tampons in about an hour and 45 mins. The bleeding seemed to lighten up and I am shaken about what has come out. Took a pregnancy test and It came back negative. Do I contact my doctor and get tests ? Any idea of what it is ? Seems to be almost a sphere of the tissue was connected all the way around.

Hi I am no expert at all but is there a chance you could have been pregnant? I believe miscarriages show a negative pregnancy test. Maybe get some clarity from your GP for peace of mind should it happen again? X
Yes, I’m not an expert either but I think you may have had a miscarriage. I passed similar tissue when I miscarried and was in a lot of pain and lost a lot of blood too. As it’s a Sunday I’d ring 111 if your in England and get an out of hours go appointment and they can send what you lost to the lab, to confirm if it’s womb lining or an egg sac. Sending you a big hug, it must have been scary.
I have had 7 miscarriages and the hormone stays in your body for a few weeks after so if the test was negative it's unlikely to be a pregnancy, any clot or tissue any bigger that a 50pence needs to be checked over by a doctor x
I would guess that it is a deciduous cast. I’ve passed a couple of these and genuinely thought it was a miscarriage (apart from I knew for sure I wasn’t pregnant!). It’s basically where all the uterine lining passes in one go. They are incredibly painful to pass.
